The Henry Mountains rise to over
11,000 feet in elevation. They would be a fine addition to the
National Wilderness Preservation System. One of the more remote
ranges in the Lower 48, the highpoint, Mt. Ellen (11,522'), is
easily climbed from a high dirt road. Photos taken September 30,
