Many sights are to be seen from the top of Red Tahquitz (8,720'). The view back towards Tahquitz Peak includes some rugged terrain. The rock atop the summit of Red Tahquitz shows why it received its name. The Mt. San Jacinto massif appears here, in the background. Also, part of Palm Springs is visible far below.
