The view northnortheastward from the top of Thompson Peak Lookout is a pleasant drive-up sight. The fertile fields of the Honey Lake Valley form geometric patterns and present a different scene. The small blue lake in the distance is Lake Leavitt. The larger lake is Honey Lake. The summit of Thompson Peak is a avian wildlife viewing site, with signs to tell one what birds are seen in this area. Photos taken July 9, 2000 by Petesthousandpeaks.
