With my digital camera, cave photography
is as easy as with film. Setting my Coolpix for nighttime portraiture,
I could hold the camera steady enough to produce an acceptable
photo. Don't count on doing flash photography here at all times,
since a rare bat is disturbed by the flash. When one is present,
flash units are not allowed. There is some incandescent light
to allow for time exposures, but big tripods are sometimes not
allowed in many caves. Photos taken November 1, 2002, by Petesthousandpeaks.
