There are so many viewpoints along
the rim road in Colorado National Monument. The new snow prompted
me to make this quick side trip from my journey home on Interstate
70. There doesn't seem to be many hiking trails, or any peaks
to climb, but I enjoyed my visit. Here,
I took my own picture, showing what I was wearing. The cold temperatures
and wind required some five layers. I have expedition-weight bottoms
under my jeans, with three pairs of socks on my feet. Photos taken
