This route to the top of Bridge Mountain looks "impossible," at first, by everyone who sees it. It is the long crack to the left of the photo, about a quarter of the picture width across. A easy ramp, with the trees, leads to its base. It is really easy class 3, without much exposure. Plenty of holds, and the nature of this deep groove makes the climb pleasant and fairly safe. But, you do need to "know" where and how it goes. A route-finding miscalculation could be fatal! Photo taken May 5, 2001 by Petesthousandpeaks.
